Why did you bump 3 different old threads and make the exact same post?

Because when I searched for results for this exact problem a different thread would pop up depending on how I typed my search. Also if multiple threads come up in a search my helpful post (unlike your post) will be there for anyone to see without going through all three threads OR if they decide to just look at one of them and not all three. Not anywhere on the three threads I posted on mention using a heat gun too. I thought maybe because people thought it might burn their fabric with too much heat or maybe they didn't think of it at all so I wanted to share my technique that you can use high heat and scrub aggressively without any pilling or damage.

Do these reasons validate your approval or should I delete the other helpful replies so you can go on to Police another thread good sir?

I would think creating a new thread might be more useful. I don't think this topic warrants 3 old thread bumps haha.

I bet you'd love for me to do that just so you could reply "We already have multiple threads on this issue, learn to use the search bar."

When we already have multiple threads about this exact issue there's no point to make a new thread like you recommend. Just like your replies to this thread, they are useless.

    Have a good one brotha!!

I did this, too. Heated them up with hair dryer, peeled them off, used some goo gone, then used one of those FAT permanent markers to blacken some of the area where there was slight discoloration. You'd never know there were stickers there.

Seriously so easy to do if you follow my steps, you'll be surprised.

By the way to take off the visor you just unscrew the two phillip head screws and then firmly pull down on the mount and it will unclip. There is a small electric connector for your mirror light you'll have to unclip too. Super easy.

I never pulled mine out, just unclipped the end and made them parallel with doors. Key is 91+% alcohol, goo-gone, and patience.

Wow that just looks terrible. The stickers arent the right size to fully cover the originals and you couldnt even put them on straight. This is aside from being incredibly tacky.

So I just removed the stickers from the "showing" side of the visors.
The two sides started differently... The drivers I peeled off just by picking at it. The passengers I used a hair dryer and peeled.
Using the hair dryer to melt the adhesive, I dabbed with a paper towel as I melted the section. Then I scraped with a plastic ruler. After that used rubbing alcohol and wiped the area. Sprayed googone and let sit. Scrubbed with soap+light water. Heated/scraped/dabbed again.
I basically did everything... And it turned out nicely! You really can't tell there was something there unless you examine. A new rider (or fiance who could care less what I do to mod the truck) would not notice any residue.

WD40 is great for stickers on painted surfaces and such. I wouldn't use it on the visors though. The foam will soak it up and it may never fully evaporate. Both GooGone and GoofOff are good for this situation as is 91% or greater isopropyl. All that stuff evaporates well. Even the GoofOff smell goes away overnight at the most.

I have used goo gone on different stuff in the past and seems to work pretty good
