BTW, the EasyGuard alarm system is also a PKE (passive keyless entry) as well, as you walk up to the Tacoma it automatically detects your F.O.B. And unlocks the doors.

Day 3. Only able to get one cap welded on. Had some errands to run unfortunately. Hoping to finish up tomorrow, if weather permits.

The EasyGuard EC003N-V is the way to go, you also can add windows roll up module or and power tailgate unlock, all from the remote F.O.B. Also, Keypad remote start. So many possibilities with this alarm!

Just using the stock non-trd springs for now! You'll be fine if you do that. Just be wary of boot angles ect. If you plan on off roading it, these other gents can provide more input. I'm content with my set up for now

Got my coastal offroad bumper installed finally. What a bitch to install and build that was. Pretty stoked with how it came out though.

Anyone with one of these gave experience with getting the hood to latch properly again? You have to remove the middle cross member that goes from the hood latch down in front of the radiator that keeps the latch from flexing. Haven't seen anyone having an issue with it online.

Dude I loved your old steelies! I bet they were heavy af though.... I saw a Subaru outback today and it's steelies looked just like yours, even 5 lugs on the outback, and so I had to ask if your other wheels are from a Subaru???

Anybody happen to have an extra part to a shittybilt winch. The part you connect your remote to? I have one on order and can replace once it arrives in September

Funny, I've been thinking the same thing since I spotted this well loved little 95-97 taco a couple blocks from my house. I've been driving by and gawking so much the owner probably thinks I'm a stalker. I've also been watching your M/T swap thread with great interest. I love my DC but what if I got another taco that already had a M/T? That would save me some money, right?

Man that is a sweet little truck there. Yeah getting a donor or just getting the truck with the transmission you want already is always cheaper. Maybe let you have a bit of both worlds :)

Ha! I know myself and the temptation to keep and build both trucks would be too much. That would probably bankrupt me and get me a divorce! By the way, thanks for the well written and detailed M/T swap write up. It almost makes me think I could I take it on myself one day.

ended up being the connection right before the o2 sensor leaking. The old flange is twisted a little and even with a new gasket doesn't seal 100% Going to chop and weld together and then it can't leak and hopefully I'm off and runnin'
