Yeah, I did a little research and saw the issue. The thing is, the caps I replaced were aluminum too. Probably just gonna stick some plastic ones on there and forgo the 5 extra hp those red trd caps gave me

Not lazy, but wish I thought of it 1st. I've got a crate just like that is looking for a new home. Going to see if it fits right now.
Edit: it fit with a little trimming on top at one end. One more practical mod thx to a TW member.

theyre kawell leds from Amazon. i got a c-channel to mount the lights to and hide the wiring. 3m double sided tape to under the bed rail and wires up through the bed rail cover to under the truck. No drilling into the bed at all
