I bet the seasonal shelf space is for back-to-school which is up in the air, so someone just said WTF, let's skip this season.

What's the issue? I have used WCD Garage in northboro...I found them because they actually do a lot of work on classic cars. My wife is having work done at Northboro Car Care this week...so I'll have an opinion on them soon...
EVERYPLACE was super busy when we were shopping around for my wife

Thanks for the info! No issues yet just would like a list of reputable shops for when I have issues.

Honestly, the reason I joined forums like this was to make my driveway the best local place to fix issues / maintain my truck.

I no longer fight rust. I leave that to the pros. I don't have an air hammer or a garage lift...

I started using Amsoil HDMP on my trucks and camper. My Fords have held up well to New England salt so far so I just hit some of the high wear areas like the receiver and the low hanging front axle and it seems to do well.

    Or not..because Nissan.

Haha yup my buddy's dad had a 1984 F150 with the 351 Windsor. Fun except when we had to pull and rebuild after the lower end started knocking.

I found my new F-150's factory flaw (I'm convinced all American vehicles have something). Fortunately it's minor--hopefully it's the only one. The driver's side ventilated seat has a noisy fan in the seatback. It causes a minor vibration, almost like it has bad bearings. Didn't really realize it wasn't supposed to be that way until I noticed I only hear air moving on the passenger's side and no vibration noise.

I have 36,000 miles to deal with it, I guess. It's the type of noise where I think if I could get to it and give it a light tap it'd stop, but because it's inside the seat it's not easily accessible like the one on the bottom cushion is.

I got a hell of a deal once on a fridge due to fan noise. They delivered it, set it up and plug it in. It was freaking loud. The fan blade was hitting something, the offered me a few hundred bucks to keep it, I asked for a day to consider it. The deliver folks left, I jammed a ruler in and hit the blades a few times, nice and quiet now.

    Oh boy, complete lemon!

I believe I have a wheel bearing going on my truck. It's been 20 years since I've had that happen on a vehicle, so I'm not completely sure? It's almost sounds like I changed to really aggressive tires, and when I turn left at speed that noise goes away. Turn right and it's still there. How hard are those things to replace?

If you have a shop press, not too bad. The NE salt factor always adds a level of complexity to projects like that though... I'm not sure if you can buy pressed assemblies like you can with the Tacoma though.
