Close up photos for better imaging of the damage. I'm imagining that the cab is obviously not a bolt on part, but what parts are? The drivers side doors both obviously, the wheel well parts and truck bed side for the rear tire, also questionable the front as the plastic guard does not sit quite flush, rear bumper step and plastic part to the left is cracked, and whatever the portion under the two doors is called. Also repaint on parts of the cabin if they can get the dents out.20200426_165934.jpg 20200425_084417.jpg 20200425_084131.jpg 20200425_084128.jpg 20200425_084006.jpg

The doorsill and cab corner should be no problem for most collision shops to pull the dents and bondo (basically what's done for unibody cars).

Expect to crunch the rear bumper plastic repeatedly if you play off-road, since the truck has a low departure angle. Upgrade to a steel bumper (~$800) or just keep replacing the plastic bumper caps (~$50 ea.). The aftermarket black caps are more pliable than OEM. That's what I did when my truck was 9 months old.

Any pics of said "road" you were on and tree? At first you said road, and then you said trail.. I am picturing a forest road maybe? How did you slide off? Sucks about your truck, but you seem like a reasonable person to own up to it, and not the dude who suggested insurance fraud. And you're not hurt, all that matters

I think it's drivable like that, new bumper skin, maybe 2 doors, it's a driver now.

Really though, if you shop around, I'll bet you can find all those parts used, maybe in the correct color. Bed unbolts, along with the fuel, and electric, that's it. Doors, same, unbolt after disconnecting the electrics. I dunno.

I once got hit by a tree too, OP! The main thing is that no one was hurt, and don't worry, your truck will get fixed.

Totaled?? Yea, as in totally ready for the trail.

I don't see the big deal, now it just looks like most of the other Toyotas I've owned.
