I guess what I meant is, DEET repel mosquitoes and similar bugs. However I'm referring to other things found in the wild that are naturally drawn to anything that smells sweet.

Best deterrent is smoke from a camp fire, but right now fires are prohibited in much of the BLM around here due to the heat.

Black bears, but they're just oversized dogs, with more biting and tearing strength to get into peoples cars or ice chests etc.

    They get scared off easily.

And I think @eon_blue wife might have an issue with lighting a fire in the house

You bring up a valid point though, and one I'm not too sure of the answer on.. alls I can say is if you spray yourself with deet one day. And amber romance the next, you'll notice way fewer bugs with the VS smell

Makes my life easier. Agreed that it is a pain to do on new builds, but essential.

Maybe a dealer parts dept has put one together or if you call and order it they'd just go to the diagram and select one of each to order. You can go that route as well. But it just seemed easier to me to cut up a rope of silicone hose. But maybe not, who knows, how ever you want, as long as it happens, right? :D

The UL requirement for colored wires in a panel is unreal! Each color is supposed to indicate it's own thing Black is always power circuits green or green/yellow for grounds, red and white for AC, blue and white with a blue stripe for DC, yellow if it's getting power from somewhere outside the panel yadda yadda yadda. It was a pain in the ass to have to do that AND phase tape, especially cause there's regulations on how much tape you have to use and such

Really I've always hated DEET but I hate getting bit even more; I've tried sunscreen infused deet, the sprays, candles, hell even the balcony light uses a mosquito repellent in the fuel. I'm a sucker for getting bit :pout:

The whole Blue/Blue+White thing is something that bugs me. Why not just blue and white on their own? Sometimes its hard to differentiate between the stripes when its buried in a panel.

Building is the fun part. Cause your usually in an air conditioned room when doing so.

The Grizzly bear is on the flag and yeah, they got hunted into extinction in CA. They used to be everywhere too, Big Bear mountain down here was named for the huge Grizzly population it had in the 19th century until the gold rush and all the miners/settlers hunted them out

Got a ton of black bears around still but they aren't much of a threat
