    @JaCado , my water temps are fine, that's what's really strange about this, no problems with water temp at all, just the ATF temperature acting strange.

    This is my first toyota so take with grain of salt.

    For the temp to run normal and then spike then come back to normal sounds like a failing RTD to me. Might just need a new temperature sensing unit.

    Actually I lied. It's really one of those photo scenes you get your pic at like the shark, or the surfboard at the beach.

    Yeah, he was at Sears buying more white tube socks and they had this scene set up at the family photography area by the restrooms.
