I know your picky.... I mean particular, so... I wrapped my URD headers with a paper bag that I had cut into a long strip, couple pieces of duct tape. They were fairly well protected as I maneuvered them into position. And easy to unwrap once in place. I was able to fit them without pulling any studs or moving the engine as the instruction warned, 08 vs 14 may be different. I already had the steering shaft out due to steering rack bushing upgrade. Getting the rack out was actually harder then doing the headers. But I have already swapped them a couple times.
Then I/we re flashed the UCON to lean it out a bit and add some timing now that the cats are gone.
My Maf reading was only 255 though? 90 out. But looking over the logs I saw my highest Maf reading was 280 with the AFE headers(cats), DT Y Pipe. Although the ambient temps were 55 degrees lower I'm thinking something ain't right. All on the 2.825 pulley.

Has the Maf X 1.18= HP been dissproven?

I wish it was that easy right now. I have to run rear cats or at least visually appealing to secondary cats because of reasons.

According to my Dyno from earlier (though possibly skewed) MAF x 1.18 appears to be the way because I top out at 255 gm/ s. Multiply that by 118, you get the power my graph showed.

That’s a great idea with the paper bags. The rest I don’t know.....except the UCon I hear can be tricky

Weird that they don't capture the data under 3k RPMs. Be nice to see.

I was looking at that myself. I don't know why it is like that. Then again I'm wondering if it has to do with the trac off issue.

They won't run it from lower RPM something about it not being safe on the dyno, and I think also being an auto trans doesn't help. I think I remember @OVTune telling me that when he tuned my truck.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about the RPM numbers. But I do agree that your numbers seem low. But that could also be because of your larger offroad tires. I know that will lower the horse power numbers. And it also depends on what gear the dyno run was performed at. Mine was done in 3rd gear which isn't ideal as 4th is 1:1 or close to it. But trying to do a pull in 4th you will hit the speed limiter on the truck.

If you do take your truck back I suggest pulling the ABS fuses, that will kill all traction control. Your rear brakes may not work as good though so definitely want to plug it in before you head home.

I had him do a pull in 3rd and in 4th and in both either the torque was up and the horsepower was down or vice versa.

Good call on the ABS fuses. The traction control system on these trucks suck anyways so if they do allow me to do a pull or two more I'll make sure I just disable it all and run a log prior to letting them take it onto the Dyno so all data is accounted for.

We have “control” over the speed limiter. I’d insist a 4th gear pull.

Should I have you bump up my speed limiter or modify it brother?

Yes, just be careful the tires don't explode because they are spinning too fast

Yeah I think mine are rated for 98mph lol

@12TRDTacoma just do the 2wd locker mod and run it in that. That’ll kill all traction control and abs

Throw your tires on mine and take mine in for the reruns. I don’t need it back until the weekend

Right. Let me just drive to AZ real quick for your tires and drive back to California for a re-run then drive back to deliver them back to you. o_O
