    Hm, I have read about the adapters for the glove box. You hook it up in there, leave the ipod in the glove box, and then use the radio for controls.

    Ditch the stock HU & put a deck in thats IPOD ready.
    It will sound so much better than what Toyota puts in there.

    I spent $110 on a Kenwood deck KDC-MP345U w/ IPOD controls, USB & aux port w/ a fit kit & harness from Crutchfield.

    The audio section has a lot of ideas.

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    PA15-TOY Charges the Ipod, and you can control the Ipod thru the factory deck. If you have steering controls, those control the ipod too. You can mount the ipod anywhere you want.
