Well it looks like the last weekend of August is taking the win for now! I'll leave the voting open for a couple more days then solidify the dates

As a side note, i'll be heading to Windrock this weekend if anyone that wanted to wheel this weekend wants to tag along!

So anyone else been to Coppinger's Cove besides @JBTacoma and @Gilmorec61? How long can we expect to ride the trails? Any camp spots picked out yet?

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Might be able to go. Trying to get this prototype done for the expo.

I've heard Coppinger's Cove is a fairly short ride, but Prentice Cooper is next door and has trails too that are worth exploring. I know you can camp there too.

I'm riding this weekend, just not sure where yet. I might check out Prentice Cooper and Coppinger Cove anyways if you want to ride.

Do you guys have a ride going on? Chocco is less than half the distance away from me as Windrock and is cheaper to ride at too.

@Gilmorec61 said he's hitting Windrock, but I want to stay a bit closer this weekend. I want to go back to Windrock again, but plan on making a weekend of it and bringing the camper trailer up with me.

https://trialstrainingcenter.com/location-directions/ is about a mile from the trail head. They have camping spots for $5 a day and that includes nice showers. They also have cabins if you want a cabin.

The last time I was there we spent two days exploring the trails, they are short but fun.

Prentice Cooper is close by, a lot of service roads with nice views and AOP is 15 miles away but it is hard riding, doable but really rough.

Chocco or Coppinger / Prentice Cooper?

I'm down either way, but I was hoping to hit new trails. You Bama guys good to go a bit further North or are we set on Chocco? Tagging @JBTacoma too.

The Charlie Penny powerlines is right down the road from Chocco if y’all wanna hit that too. It will make for a fun, rough and rutted out ride!

Im only 30 min from Chocco, so it will just be a day ride for us. We usually meet up around 8 or 9am and ride from there.
