Has anyone installed the Beck/Arnely 104-1802 rear auto transmission mount?
I ordered one from RockAuto and the box is pretty beat up and has obviously been returned (can see part of the old shipping label, old yellow tape/new tape) and the label says Made in USA but the actual part appears to be a different brand made in Taiwan.

Trying to get ahold of RockAuto and wanted to verify the part was switched/returned if someone has a picture of that part.

That's what I am guessing happened...

Haven't dealt with RockAuto customer service before so I guess we'll see how it goes. I started a claim online and they want me to pay for return shipping. That's not gonna happen. I'll call them later today.

Buy OEM and save yourself the headache. You can never go wrong buying OEM but there's tons of examples of things going wrong buying aftermarket. Aftermarket has it's place especially when doing modifications to your rig but things like transmission and engine mounts aren't something I would choose aftermarket over OEM. Buy Once and Cry Once.

Yeah my dealer was having issues locating an oem rear mount so I ordered a decent aftermarket as well as a Timken center bearing for the driveshaft. Wanted to knock out both jobs this weekend but that's not going to happen.

FYI, RockAuto does not have a phone number. They force you to go through email.

It looks like ToyotaPartDeal and McGeorge Toyota have these avaialbale. I think your stealershop parts department is mistaken.

This part number 12371-07030 fits my '02 with the v6 and auto. Your '96 may or may not be the same.

    Go to this website:

    https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/oem/toyota~insulator~engine~mounting~rear~no~1~12371-07030.html

It will ask you to verify your truck details to make sure this part number fits your truck too. Best thing to do is enter your vin # so there are no mistakes. If it isn't right for the '96 the website will offer a link to the correct one for you.

That sucks. And is a sign of what is coming for all of us.

Hopefully, a reputable aftermarket option is still available for your truck.

It may be worth a shot to try vintage parts. When I worked at an Acura dealer we used and reccomended the hell out of them for discontinued or obsolete parts.

RockAuto got back to me. They are going to send out a replacement as soon as I drop off the wrong one at FedEx. Hopefully it gets here soon! Surprisingly quick customer service and no charge unlike if I had gone through their automated return/exchange portal.

Interesting. I was able to order an OEM rear trans mount a few months ago from a dealer in Sacramento. I wasn't made aware of any issues on their end sourcing the part. If needed, I can track down the exact date I found it.

Glad you got it sorted! I wouldn't worry about OEM for this part. you should get good service out of the B/A one.

    Lets be clear here.

If you are referring to a trans mount for your 2001 model with the 3.4L v6, that is why you did not have trouble, whereas @Allex95 did. He has a '96 model with a 2.7L.

NO WORRIES...... 12371-35090 has superseded too 12371-0C030. This fits the 4x4 Auto 3RZ 2.7 4 cylinder & others. Toyota does not always show a ss number & that is why you need to talk to a Toyota Parts guy/gal who knows their business. This is a part that will be continued to be made & available.
The cosmetic/trim stuff is the concern
