Currently neck deep in a pretty involved stereo/reverse camera install and have spent two full days on it. Know any electrical savvy dudes around here?

I will also be en route to Marietta, 28-29 JUL from NC. My wife wants a purse in Charlotte so I will be in the area to haul stuff if needed.

 

Haven’t these been confirmed to fit 2nd gens too? Or was that the other way around ?

 

They fit - they just sit more cab level instead of slightly higher. They look good!

 

i think the only difference is the rear bar. 3rd gens are curved and 2nd gens are straight. Otherwise it’s the same frame and whatnot.

 

Agreed. Turd softys look better on 2nd gens than the 2nd gen model specific ones do.

 

That is what I thought too. I run the tonneau with rtt on top of it (Mobtown bars), but if I was to get a softopper for my second gen it would be a third gen softopper.

1st gen Tacoma (OEM to my knowledge) CV Axle out of 01. Been in basement since 05 or 06 since SAS. Boots are good. Comes with spare clips and axle nut. Great trail spare.

1st gen Tacoma OEM manual hub. Another great spare out of the 01 that has been in my basement/garage for 15 years. Perfect shape, just clean up the old grease.

Thank you for the tag but those are for auto-locking hubs, if they were for a manual I would for sure get them.

Thanks for the offer on the transport from the other guys(as well) - my buddy is about to have his first kid and is going to hold off for now. Once things settle down I will look back up/reach out to see if its still available. GLWS I would like to have one in addition to my camper but just spent my cash on prinsu(s).
