Note to self, do not wait until it is 90 degrees out with 99.9% humidity. After adding a steel bumper and winch, I developed a very annoying and loud rub on the drivers side. It would scare the crap out of me. Sucked. Anyway, thank god for google, videos and tacomaworld because I really suck at all mechanical related things, which blows in itself. I hammered the pinch weld over and then trimmed as little as possible. The final step was using a heat gun to smoosh the plastic down. Total time was around 2 hours, lots of wasted time doing stuff that did not need to be done, shrug. There are a few guys that out there that answered some stupid ass questions, so thanks..........Now for the passenger side - first thing tomorrow morning........ Thank you @McRib for telling me to use a BFH, but not what that was. LoL, the Harbor Freight guy had a laugh at that.......

You can see where I was rubbing, the plastic already broke off....

Edit --- all trimming and grinding was done with a Dremel.

I remove all those annoying plastic liner clip things. I could kill the engineer that developed them.... Just awful, I even bought a tool off Amazon, it sucked, so I ended up just yanking them out. FYI - the tool came with a couple dozen new plastic clips.....

Hammering top to bottom, I cut slits in order to try to save the clip hole. The bottom is a pain in the ass. I got it flat as possible. I also trimmed the bottom up just a little, trimmed more later after it was all together.

    Rubberized undercoating spray paint.

The plastic still stuck out, I did more trimming.

Using a heat gun and a some wood to form the plastic, I smooshed the liner. I used cold water to set the plastic.
