White is fine. Take care of it and it’ll last. I wash my truck once a week and clay/polish every 4-6 months. I try to park it in the shade when possible but I’ve done that with every car/color I’ve owned. I purchase mine new 2019 and I just hit 18k miles with no issue with the paint.

Every local dealer i went to while getting prices told me to stay away from their blue...anything but blue. I wasn't looking for a blue truck anyways. They never mentioned white....maybe toyota didn't have as many issues with white as blue?

Not sure, I don’t have either one.
As far as I’m aware, both white and blue is a color to steer clear.

It seems everyone wants to buy a grey / silver Tacoma and Toyota sells them by the shit ton.

If you buy some sort of grey / silver you wont have a problem reselling it.

I got mine my default. Only one I could find with minimal options. It hides dirt REALLY well. Even better than my white Subaru. I told myself I would never own a silver vehicle, but now I can’t imagine owning anything different. It looks classy and clean even after a week of rain

Cement seems to be the new wave, I can see it selling way easier than white that looks like a base model fleet truck.

My white 07 has paint peeling from the leading edge of the hood and a couple of other spots. But after 13 years and 205,000 miles it really doesn't bother me.

Color isn't realistically going to impact the value much at all. Even on sites with instant offers for your zip code you can play around with color and it might change it a couple hundred dollars (when I do it here blue and white are oddly higher value than other colors which are all the same). If anything a less common color can demand a higher value regardless of the appeal of it to a wider range of people. With a Pro for example - the limited new color that matches the model year will demand the higher value. So this year the Green (despite green being one of the least popular colors for a car overall).

Yu probably wont even see them. I have a bunch of chips in my paint and they look like gray spots. Its like some gray primer under the paint. Im guessing it would blend even better in your cement.

    this and that...
i think clean paint that has no scuffs, mars, dings, dents would have a better resale than any one color. like for example, i would take old man tan (quicksand) that has little to no wear over cement that has few trail marks. thats just me though. some people couldnt care less about that stuff.

This is the most easily chipped and scratched black paint I've ever owned in my life. And what a couple people have said above, to keep it looking decent would be a daily task. I use my truck as a truck so I don't give care how it looks really but if I was worried about resale it would be a concern.
