What are you paying for 2020 Tacomas?

Lots a miles on the truck for a 2020.

 

Only $422,477?? Sounds like a steal of a of a deal to me!

 

Yeah, for that price I might have to buy a Ford Ranger.

 

Is it just smarter to wait for the 2021's at this point with the way everything is looking?

 

Yeah thats what my mechanic said. The OTD price with ttl fees was $29k.....I'm just going wait and buy a new one.

 

Does anyone know anything about ordering straight from the factory?

 

Finally found a Cement TRD OR 4x4 with premium tech in SoCal. The price isn't great, but it's not MSRP or higher. I have a working 2nd Gen, just debating if I should pull the trigger.

Yes. He told me he RSVP'd the next Cement that was coming to the dealership. The system told him it would show up in Aug but low and behold it showed up today. He said their build tracking system is all screwed up, so production dates are all over the map.

Again, a slight discount off MSRP. I understand the dealership is selling the trucks at MSRP or higher, so I don't want to get my buddy in trouble.

I'm in Riverside area. I got my name on one coming in August. They tell me they can deal on those. 30+ coming.

 

Doesn't have the advance tech, so no leather. I think I'm going to wait on a 2021. I know my buddy is trying to hook me up, but if I can get the same deal on a 2021, I rather pay for that then on a truck that will already be a year old in 3 months.

 

My thoughts exactly. Does your buddy have any idea when the 2021 are coming ? New colors ? I know that the TRD Pro new color is Lunar Rock. But is there a new color coming for the regular trucks ?
I was really wanting the Moonroof/Leather package, but is it worth the extra $$. I might go with one without it and get seats covers from PRP in temecula. Ive got to sell my 2001 Prerunner Double Cab. Supercharged 3.4. It's been a great truck. Had it since 2002. 330K miles. Well taken care of, but unfortunately it got hot on me on freeway and blew a headgasket. I got it on Craigslist. A JDM 3.4 is $900. Got it for sale as is.

Many calls on the Supercharger but it comes with the truck.

 

I just got off the phone and told my buddy to let it go. He said the second guy in line was already at the dealership and was going to sign on the truck with a $2k mark-up. I'll wait for 2021. Should be Sept since it's a carry over model.

I was going to get the leather seats but finding a truck in Cement with that option was tough, even more so now. I was just going to get the Clazzio seats and call it a day.

Yeah, in my book it's almost always a red flag to have so much millage on a same year truck/car. Waiting is a good move. Eventually it will become a buyers market again once production picks up. Thats what I am doing. I'll be on the look out for an TRD OR DCL fully loaded as It will be my 1st truck and 3rd car in 20 yrs. From the sounds of it Sep-Oct. seems to be a realistic time frame to shoot for.

Dis anyone see the 2019 with King set up,Wheels and tires, etc in the buy section ? It went fast. $37K - not bad.

Yeah. Cement is the hot color. Flying off the lot. Most are doing $3k mark ups

 

I'm in a similar situation.
I figure I might as well pay off other debts in the meantime.
Wait it out and see what happens is what I'm going to do.
