vF Tuner for the 3.5L Tacoma

I got that notification yesterday. I turned off my wifi and turned off my antivirus. Then I reflashed and was fine.

 

I don't know. I got an unsuccessful LV Reset one when I had the engine running. I did read anything else other than the unsuccessful part.

 

Yes it was. I wasn't flashing though just reading. The reset lv and dtc ( i think) said they were successful. It seemed to idle different when i i started it. I only drove it a few miles so I'll experiment more tomorrow.

 

I'll find the updated vftuner and try that tomorrow. I'm sure I'm skipping something important. Any awesome features of the update? Do we have locked diff in 2 high yet? I need to do leave some fresh doughnuts in my work parking lot with all our rain we get everyday at 5 when I leave!

 

A weird idle sounds like you got the LVs Reset.

 

Agreed. I did a test yesterday and if your foot is into it while already on the hill it stays in gear. If you let of the pedal slightly just as you approach the incline, it will shift up if in 3rd or 4th already

 

What was the speed?

Alright, its finally my turn. Picked up a cheap windows laptop, working on getting everything installed.

I've made it to registering my software, which it appears to have done successfully. But now the software won't open. When I attempt to open VF Tuner I get this error message. Any input?

 

Add c:\vF Tuner to exclusion list under Windows security and try again

 

Wasn't able to figure out how to do that, but I tried opening the app again and got a security notification. I was able to manually override there. On to the next step!

 

Google it.
Also add .exe for pf5flash.
You will have the issue to start it as well
