don't know if a thread like this exists but im interested to see what you are all driving when you aren't in your ~20yr old pickups.

this is my 2013 hairdressers car. its not super fast but the handling/grip at speed makes for a really fun ride. i had a 2015 golf wagon TDI daily but i also had a divorce so now she has a 2015 golf wagon TDI and i bought a old tacoma.

Audis are great looking cars, I've always thought they looked so good. That said I'll likely never own one because I do my own work and those need a lot of work, compared to Toyotas at least.:D I've only owned Land Cruisers...... and a Geo Metro XFI(Suzuki swift clone), and a Ford Festiva(Japanese Mazda engine), and a Nissan Hardbody pickup and I've had great reliability from all of these vehicles. I've been very very fortunate. Currently own just a couple cruisers besides the taco, NVM I sold one a couple weeks ago:(, currently one Land Cruiser besides the taco.
All of them older too. Mostly 90s actually. What a great decade that was for Japanese vehicles.

Not a hairdresser, don't even have hair - would absolutely have a blast driving that car.

Fixing it would be a different story

have i got news for you: the audi TT is basically a golf. it costs nothing to fix and tbh never breaks. just keep up with maintenance and its no different than a standard commuter car. in 2.5 years/100000kms i've just done service, tires, brakes, a r/f strut mount bearing and both front stabilizer links. just like a normal car.

it turned into a pure mid west ghetto box in the past few years after almost 24 years of wear and tear and salted slop
still starts on original starter but may be failing at long last
heater is hot for the zero degree days
AC blows cold but i don't use it much lol whats the point
multiple exhaust leaks nickel and diming it until the day

i worked for audi and i own one so if thats not testament enough i don't know what is. go to any brand dealership and see what the techs are driving - thats the car to own.

and yes its a riot. 255 sticky rubber all around makes on and off ramps a hoot. 2.0T engine gets good fuel economy plus its a fun track day toy that can be driven to and from.

Another Audi owner here, 2007 A3 3.2 quattro. It's basically a Golf R32 with an Audi interior and sheet metal. It's my first German car, before this I had several different Subarus.

This is my 1986 300ZX GLL I'm working on restoring. I saved it from the crusher after it was sitting under a tree for 10 years.

    4 run, 2 don't
    Down to a C5 Z06

Was daily driving a C6 for a few years before I sold it last year; only had about 60k miles?

Still got the 5.0 but the SO drives it

And last but not least a C4 that's taking residence at my aunts garage (my house doesn't have a garage)

You're my hero. Love that 80s 90s Japanese muscle. First car was an 88 supra NA, second was a 90 supra turbo.

Nope, haven't really gotten into power mods yet. Just a Magnaflow catback, and BFI engine and dogbone mounts. Just finished the suspension and those brakes you see last month. 17Z Brembo BBK from a Cayenne and Koni struts with Neuspeed springs.

Everyone seems to hate this generation of Z, the Z31 300ZX and the 280ZX are the most worthless Z cars.

I love the Z31 though, it doesn't get more 80's. This is the dashboard.

    (Not my pic, I have a 5-Speed)
