Any ideas on how to fix this other than replacing. The black wrap on the doors got jacked up

Any sort of a rubbing compound or wax for that vinyl that might fix it?

Or has anyone paid to have a piece replaced. If so what was cost?20200715_191953.jpg 20200715_192115.jpg

Shims correct the angle of the rear portion of the drive shift which changes when you lift the rear of the truck because you're adding height difference between the rear drive shaft portion and the carrier bearing. Whether you get 1 leaf or 3 leaf aal, the height you gain is the main factor in needing shims or not. You can always try without and see if you're getting vibrations and if so you can go back and add the shims, not a big deal if you're doing the work yourself. If you want to play it safe, go ahead and get some shims and install them with the aals because i think most people need them to avoid drive vibrations.

I’ve used this one before I’m not 100% sure that it will take the scratches off but they don’t look very deep so I think this will still make less noticeable . 303 (30382) Products Automotive Protectant - Interior And Exterior - Ultimate UV Protection - Helps Prevent Fading And Cracking - Repels Dust, Lint, And Staining - Non Greasy Finish, 16 fl. oz. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0185PU38A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_jh8dFbJ69TS30

Sorry for the late reply. I can't open the Diamondback SE cover with the rack on. But it's four bolts (with lock washers) to remove from the mounting brackets that I leave in place. Right now I need a second set of hands to remove and put on, but I'm planning on hoisting it up from the ceiling in my garage. Especially when it has an RTT on it.

It's good to be different. Any change in engine temp after replacing the grill?

Thanks for the explanation. I just dont believe I've heard of that before until recently, never done suspension work before. I'm looking at a 1.5" 3 leaf install and read where one person used 2° and another used 3°. Do you have a recommendation? Thx

Installed my first tonneau cover, a Retrax Pro XR retractable cover. Very durable and love the look, well worth the lifetime warranty. Now waiting for my Yakima crossbar set and bike rack to come in prior to a cross country trip.

I cant say for sure, but 1.5" is what I gained with my aal and it included 3 degree shims and I have had no vibrations or issues at all.

Did this a while back when I first got the truck. I don’t think I’ve seen people change the pedal covers. My feet would slip on the stock rubber and plastic when I wore my dressy boots.
