If your going to be going by Bryce I would check it out. The hikes into the canyon are pretty awesome. just don't go up thor's hammer, I would take peekaboo trail down past the cathedral from Bryce point and go up wallstreet or queens garden trail. Thor's hammer has switchbacks that were a bitch going up.

Tryin to decide if I want to go to the woods this weekend or if I want to start doing the rear suspension fab.

I wanna go to the woods...

But I want to do the rear suspension so when I go to the woods, I'll have MOAR FLEX. lol

If I do the fab... anyone available to help me pull off the bed?

Lmao! It's Wednesday evening... I'd have to pull the awning, RTT, roof basket, RTT rack, tool boxes, rear bumper and swing out, and bed to be able to START fabbing.

Kind of thinking this is a one or the other deal.

 

Well, unfortunately I cannot join in on either of those adventures with you this weekend.
I'm not sure which I'd pick. I'd like to think I'd pick the fab, but then I think about the forest.......

When I was up there last weekend I made a wrong turn onto 5N01D on my way to relief reservoir. I turned around after the first creek crossing, but looked at the map later and realized it goes all the way south to the edge of the emigrant wilderness on a bluff overlooking the reservoir. You should check it out.

 

I've been back to the blue circle... I think the road is closed beyond that point.

I’m hearing lightning starting Thursday and maybe a chance into the weekend. They are saying some dry and some wet. Keep an eye out.

Dude... Now I see that road on Satellite but it's not marked on most maps... that pops out just above Lower Relief Valley... It's marked as s hiking trail on this map. But that road goes, literally, to the edge of Immigrant Wilderness. That may need some further exploration for hunting season.

 

I see a difference in the markings. It goes 2 lines to your X ’s and after it goes to 1 line. But you should check it out though, it could be wrong.

I'm down as soon as I get these gears broken in. I found another spot up there with a killer overlook but you have to walk maybe 1/4 mile from the road.
