All joking aside....this is where people mess up. Unlike a spin-on filter that has a gasket and requires a bit of torque to ensure a proper seal....the filter housing uses an o-ring and requires only a very light snug.

    Fuck:annoyed:
The truck is broke, I am broken and got shit to do. Being only 1 armed for the past 2.3 years has not been good. I'll take an extra pair of hands any time some looks my way. :hattip:

nothing comes close to that on Tacoma’s, but my all-time favorite was this dude with the mustang.

    https://mustangforums.com/forum/5-0l-general-discussion/368307-i-m-done-with-this-car.html

“My car was idling like crap the other day so I figured since I just got it, it may have been awhile since anyone changed the oil out. I decided to go ahead and change the oil. I used Mobile 1 synthentic oil like I was reccomended on here. Anyways, I drain out the oil and noticed it was extremely dark and even after 10 minutes of draining, it was still coming out. I decided to go ahead and flush it to make sure all the bad stuff got out. I hooked up the hose, ran water through the engine, started it up and was waiting for the water to come out clean (The engine never went above idle so I was told this would be ok). Anyways, About 3 minutes into this, then engine starts shaking and shuts off. I figured it was all cleaned out so I plugged it up, added the oil and figured I was ready to go. WRONG! The car won't freaking start now. This car has been nothing but trouble for me, I think I am done with it.”

Hasn't been functional. Dislocated the shoulder render it virtually useless from shoulder to elbow for 6 months. I Could not touch the top of my scalp to wash my hair. Had to shave it all off.

I’ll admit, I probably over tighten my filters.
If I ever run it one of these cartridge filter, I’ll keep it in mind.
Only ones I have ever done was a diesel filter on a Ford.

Considering I had to fall again to put it back in place. 3 x rays and a MRI and 4 dr. Appointments and a shoulder specialist all said, " looks good, no dislocation found", please go to physical therapy o_Oo_Oo_O
