I go over to the south sound a lot and all over Oregon and Montana regularly. My truck is literally just for camping and exploring, only reason I have it.

Make time, they don't just hand it out. I'm taking all next week off to go wheeling. Helps that I'm over my job, I didn't request time off I told them I was taking it

I would like to talk about that! I aspire to be like you.. I wish I could have a garage with a frame just sitting there. I promised my SO I'd grow up and limit myself to just one major project, so I bought this 98 after searching for months... it was an easy sell for her cause I picked it up for 2k with a dead engine and had a rebuilt 3rz looking to be dropped into something.

I then spent :notsure: to drop it in, had that transmission debacle (another 2k + :notsure:) and now need about another 2k plus :notsure: for complete suspension and steering rebuild.... not to mention that the engine rebuild was supposed to go back into the 4R and that cost me 2k+

And the more I rebuild the more I want to restore.. like take the cab off and completely restore the frame. Then it's the wanta pile.. like wanting to add lockers when I regear cause I "have" to get rid of these 3.56 and go to a 4.30 and while I'm in there might as well add lockers  that's 6k plus so much of my time and it's my daily so I'm buying double of everything(like OEM control arms, etc), rebuilding it, then just swapping it into the truck so I have as little downtime as possible

Tell me your taco story now!

You know, the same places that offer 1st Gen Tacoma parts offer limited 4R parts.

Decided since I'm only going 2" on the 4R, I'll just buy the rears offered by King.

Wanting to spend less than $900 shipped.
