So I messaged a guy selling a 95 Tacoma today finally gets back to me at 10:15 saying he’s not in a rush to sell cause he loves the truck but has it listed for sale ,so I say I can come by tomorrow or this weekend but he needs to make a decision because I’m not wasting my time if he doesn’t want to sell the damn thing . People are fucking nuts today.

Welllllllllllllllllp I got the truck back yesterday.......and it's horrible. The shop did a terrible job fixing it. The new quarter panel doesn't fit. Scratches on my hood, scratches on the new quarter panel, scratches on all corners of the door, scratches on the body you can see behind the panels, mysterious black goo on the door, mysterious super globs of stuff on a door the didn't even have to repair, mirror not installed right, the list goes on.......They pretty much blamed Geico for tying their hands on everything and having to use aftermarket parts first to see if I would think it is acceptable. The only good thing so far is the paint and body work is very good. The scratches and stuff I pointed out were clearly all from reassembly.

Damn, that sucks! I would take it to the dealer and demand that they pay to have their F'ups fixed. One good thing about dealership repairs is they use oem parts.

The shop laid most of the blame on Geico saying that they won't pay for OEM parts until they attempt to use aftermarket. The shop knows that Toyota aftermarket parts aren't great and they are willing to go to bat with Geico to get an OEM fender, then fix all of the scratches and stuff. I've already been on the phone with the shop, Geico, and my insurance company this morning to keep the ball rolling on the repairs. All around crap morning...fishing trip this week cancelled and truck going back to the shop. Enterprise called and said I'll be getting the F150 back. Greaaaaat.

I think its just my wacky schedule that messed me up. Last night I got off work at 1130pm, and this morning I got into work at 6am. Then tomorrow, I am working 8pm-630am.

I need a new job that is more consistent
