I actually had the fire extinguisher mounted on a molle panel but wanted to move it to free up space to mount my fullsize spare vertically on the back panel against the cab. Given where I have everything else mounted on the molle panels I didn't have space for the fire extinguisher.

I had some just like that in red and they were pink within a few months.

Stock exhaust hangs below the frame rail. It's common to get it rerouted above the frame rail for clearance offroad.

Replaced the first gen Bestop clamps with the newer clamps. Much better design and peace of mind. The only weak spot. These are nice tops.

Nice! Did you just get them by reaching out to Bestop through their website?

Nope. Amazon. Same exact clamp as the Bestop Supertop II though.

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07K2L6FYP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and get this...what Bestop left off that I believe leads to the rare "fly off"...torque specs! 65 in/lbs

Awesome thanks! I like this new design as the long bolt on the old version was contacting my bedside molle panels.

Is it an optical illusion of the camera or do the Bestops have a weirdly large gap between the canopy and the back of the cab? I wouldn't mind getting one for the purpose of being able to roll up the sides (unlike other brands) but it always looks like there is a large gap near the cab... can you confirm?

I need to do at least one lower. Where did you end up getting those from?

    yes there's a gap.
Couple things to be aware of. @boogie3478 and I each have the original Supertop for Tacoma. That design is being/has been replaced with something a little different. The sides on the original like mine do NOT roll up. They can be either in or out. When out you want to store them flat somewhere. The back panel CAN roll up, or be removed completely.

Here's a pic of the gap. It's not a problem at all in my opinion, in fact with the back window open it make for nice airflow and my dog likes to lay on his custom deck and rest his chin in the open window in the air blast.

    120k maintenance today
    Oil and filter changed
    flushed brake fluid
    flushed transmission fluid
    flushed coolant
    And detailed the tyres

Now i am aware that it is recommended the transmission fluid is replaced at 100k but I bought it at 115k and didn't see any notation on whether or not it had been performed.

Pleasant surprise waiting when I got back from lunch thanks to a stealth delivery from Fedex. @Discount Tire 's order processing is insanely fast!

Yeah I was a bit shocked to see them sitting there. I placed the order on the 14th late in the day and BOOM ... here they are.

    Same crap everyone else got
I had to drive 3 hours to get mine too. Worth the drive if you got a good deal on it or you just can't find one in your color local. Love your wheels btw! Also, whats yoru suspension set up and tire size?
