The furries have been around a while.. my dad told me about them in the 90s when he took my brothers and I to a D&D mini convention and we saw one. There's a netflix documentary about the whole furry thing and now that I think about it ... that wasn't a 'thing' until like 89 so I don't wanna know how my dad knew about it:anonymous:

Yeah, they are all the same. Problem is, my original one has a cracked case, right where the shaft seals are. So it's going to leak regardless and is why I have been trying to buy a replacement. My 4runner thread has pics of the original one.

Oh, I missed that bit. I think my GX has a similar actuator.

I stay away from subcultures like that. I simply don't get it.

My wife and I ran into a furry convention when we stayed in Orlando 3 years ago. They seemed pretty harmless. First and only time I've ran across them in the wild.

They're harmless in public. That documentary freaked me out cause it showed the seedy underbelly of what happens during the after parties at those conventions.

Don't look into it, shit gets real weird

It does. Actually, I think after 2009, they are still using the same actuator on 2020 model 4runners with AWD. Haven't changed it at all except for adding a view port to check the timing on the center diff lock motor.

@Kwikvette your addiction analogy was perfect... and I'm realizing hit ultra close to home. I want to drain my savings account and buy parts. Like all the parts. I wanna buy duplicate things just to rebuild, then putting them on my truck and then rebuilding the take offs and piece together a ghost truck (that's the right term with guns right)

I feel like I picked up a George Jung briefcase at the airport and have to do everything inside the suitcase so it cant be traced back to me

@Empty_Lord I blame you for showing me how to easily access people's build threads :D the first line is always free right:thumbsup:

Why would I do that o_O

Going to call King later, otherwise Accutune offers them for about $50 more than the average price but pretuned for your vehicle.

My brother and I had to help my mom and sister move out of Palm Springs several years ago in the middle of July, fucking sucked lol. I remember he and I both had over a case of water each, we'd be sweating so much we were constantly having to drink water and always thirsty.

We moved them from the middle of the desert where it was 110°+ to the central coast where it was like 60°

Nascar added underglow to the cars. But only to the back. Weird.

I thought about that but I don't want ADS in the back with King up front. If I didn't have my Kings already I could've just gone ADS all around.

I noticed on different sites last night that 2 different "bolt in" rear shocks are available at different lengths; the 10" traveling shock isn't on ADS site though but instead another vendor.

Lol he forgets a lot of things

Haven't seen that shit in so long
