    yes there's a gap.
Couple things to be aware of. @boogie3478 and I each have the original Supertop for Tacoma. That design is being/has been replaced with something a little different. The sides on the original like mine do NOT roll up. They can be either in or out. When out you want to store them flat somewhere. The back panel CAN roll up, or be removed completely.

Here's a pic of the gap. It's not a problem at all in my opinion, in fact with the back window open it make for nice airflow and my dog likes to lay on his custom deck and rest his chin in the open window in the air blast.

    120k maintenance today
    Oil and filter changed
    flushed brake fluid
    flushed transmission fluid
    flushed coolant
    And detailed the tyres

Now i am aware that it is recommended the transmission fluid is replaced at 100k but I bought it at 115k and didn't see any notation on whether or not it had been performed.

Pleasant surprise waiting when I got back from lunch thanks to a stealth delivery from Fedex. @Discount Tire 's order processing is insanely fast!

Yeah I was a bit shocked to see them sitting there. I placed the order on the 14th late in the day and BOOM ... here they are.

    Same crap everyone else got
I had to drive 3 hours to get mine too. Worth the drive if you got a good deal on it or you just can't find one in your color local. Love your wheels btw! Also, whats yoru suspension set up and tire size?

Did a search but no hits: anyone installed this compass mirror on a 2015 Taco? I know when I installed my lighted side mirrors it was PnP. Wondering the overhead console is also prewired. TIA

So, both of those scenarios were the case. It was a good deal, and my color. The guys son listed it on Marketplace and didn’t describe it very well. I reached out for more details and he told me to call his dad. So, that’s how I ended up knowing what it was. I could tell by the shape and color I was going to be close. Happily, I was right.

Wheels are 17x9 Fuel Shock in Bronze. Tires are Yoko Geolander MTs in 295/70-17. Yes, they rubbed until I did the cmc and trimmed the front of the flares. Rear suspension is a set or stock 3rd gen new take off springs, plus a add a leaf. Fronts are stock CO’s with a spacer. I have a set of OME 886’s on Dobinson struts waiting for a set of UCA’s to come along.

I always use discount tire when I can. They have the best service and pricing. Never went wrong with them. I bought rims and tires for my subaru years back and then they showered up with the wrong bolt pattern I called and they had them picked up the next day, shipped to chicago, tires on new rims and shipped back within 3 days!

Trying something a little different. This is more of an experiment than anything. One of my recent trips, my drain plug loosened itself from rubbing on rocks. So I took a piece of 1/8” and tacked it on as a protector of sorts. Time will tell if it works or not. This was the least obtrusive way I could think of to protect it. I could have tacked the drain plug itself, but that would be a pain to undo.

edit: bolt on diff skids have a hole there for the drain plug, so it wouldn’t have offered any additional protection here. It still would have loosened itself.

I installed one with the temp/compass. There is a plug beneath the console but I still had to run a wire for the temp sensor. Pretty simple install

My last car was a lifted Subaru XV. Seriously good off road and you wouldn't expect! just didn't have enough space for my multi week trips.
