    Excuses, excuses. :D

I work full time and go to school full time. You only need to have 1 class in person, the rest can be online to get the full BAH stipend. Most of my in-person classes were like 530-820pm 2x a week. I think now, with covid19, if your school turned in-person classes to online only, you still will get full BAH too. But yeah, if you're coming up in your senior year (I am as well), no reason to change now. GL!

Yeah I got it leveled about 5 different times. :bananadead:

I'm no expert but after reading about when filament stops being extruded it's usually because your nozzle temp is too high, or you're not moving fast enough. Or a combination of both. I sped it up to 80mm/s and 1mm layer and it looks 10x better now.

First mod purchase is going to be the ABL.

Errrrr make that second mod purchase. I already got a RPi, just need to set it up with octoprint for remote view and start/stop.

Did you buy a RPi or had one already?

After a three hour print of a needed filament guide, I broke it trying to man handle it off the print surface. I'm not concerned with how it looks and a little research says superglue works great on PLA but I can find any in the house!

I bought one from target. They advertised the 4B 2gb version for $49.99 but it was really the 4gb version. I need to pick up some more filament to finish printing bed supports and someone on thingiverse has a control screen case that also holds the 4B RPi.

Which printer did you get? These were my first 3 or 4 prints that all stopped extruding half way through. :annoyed: I also stopped using rafts or brims.

Snapmaker 2.0 a350. Bought through Kickstarter over a year ago. Showed up two days ago but the shipping notification arrived in my email today.

I haven't messed with the temps or speed yet. Just using the recommended for the downloaded files. We'll see how it goes when I run the first ABS print.

Do you plan on enclosing it? How hot does your bed get? I was looking at switching to petg after I get pla prints consistent. Abs sounds like it's very picky.

Yeah, the days I had class in person, I'd leave the house at 630 for work, and not come home until 830-9pm depending on when I got out. Those were rough days. But I got a house and mouths to feed lol.

At least you were utilizing the benefit. I started most of my schoolwork when I was still active duty. A lot of people let that go to waste and never use it. Which is crazy to me.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
I'm tempted to use mine for my masters. It just means I need to find a brick and mortar to attend for it. Which sucks.

First I need to work on my A&P

Bed goes to 80c/175f and nozzle 275c/527f.
Bed temp is at the bottom end for abs and it will most likely need an enclosure. I balked at the cost of the enclosure for it, but seeing just how large it is, I get it.
Enclosure will have to wait. I'll try a couple of small parts and see how it goes.
