Cool welcome to TW......I've been looking to do some offroading too. I went Northeast offroad for some trail driving. It was cool. They have trail rides up hunter mountain I'm considering doing.

Don't go nuts on tires for those roads. I've run them with pretty bald 295's. Well, trail's end that is. Haven't hit Lundy's yet. Too haunted for me. :lalala:

Jk. Really have had no time

I'll check them out, thank you! I belong to a gun club right up there so shooting and off roading sounds like a great day

I was looking at their Intro to Offroading, but $200 for 3 hours seems a bit steep... Would you mind telling me a bit more about what you did? I will still probably pony up and go though

Any recommendations? I went by Nimham the other day thinking I could drive to the fire tower, but it was closed off and I didn't see any trails

What's funny is they have a Jeep Jamboree in the Catskills near Monticello. I have no idea where they are going off road in that area but here is some info. I know they probably won't let a Tacoma into the party but they are charging $365 for it so maybe they allow pay to play:

    https://jeepjamboreeusa.com/trip/23rd-catskill-mountains-2020/

And, before anyone complains about $365 I totally agree with you -- but this is NY and every pound of flesh must be extracted.

Ha ha ha ha ha ! We should send a drone over their jamboree, map the trails and then run them when they are done.

It was about 45 minutes class where you watched videos about 4wd systems recovery overview. He talked about hos background and the startup of his business. The trail was more of a crawl. Your in 4 lo the shole time. Talked about driving over rocks you drive over a rock course he directs w hand signals. Yhen you drive over some logs and then a trail ride. Where they spot you. Itsa bit pricey but i enjoyed it was fathers day gift to myself. The trail ride was about an hiur and 45 minutes20200621_114955.jpg
