I was wondering the same on my last F-150, but I'm about 90% sure it was just tires in my case.

I've done them when I can replace the whole hub assembly, but when I have to press things I don't care to deal with it.

BDR in Holliston. They specilize in Land Rovers and Land Cruisers. But they are awesome and great to work with. They are not going to be the cheapest, but they're honest and do great work. Very upfront and don't price gouge.

I took my Land Cruiser there based on the advice of another (former) Land Cruiser owner @ERMB . They always have a bunch of LR and LC builds going on at any given time; so they are very familiar with dealing with rust. The owner is a former Toyota Master Mechanic too. They also don't bat an eye at aftermarket mods or installing them. They even have extensive experience with SPC UCA's (most places have no damn clue what to do with them/ how to set them properly). I had them install a bunch of suspension stuff on my LC that I didn't feel like doing in my driveway.

Also went back for an inspection and had a brake light out I didn't realize. They replaced it for the cost of the bulb (like $2.00). No charging 15 minutes of labor or whatever nonsense most other places whack you for. Once you've got a baseline at your vehicle there it seems like they will take care of you. Highly recommended.

Well here's a super bonus for Northboro Car Care...Wife walks in and says "Oh I thought you were in the shower...the mechanic called and said 'I can't believe the dealer didn't tell you how bad your rear brakes were....' and my wife said 'Oh we know they are bad, my husband is going to put new brakes on after you do the bearings' and the guy said 'Ask him if he just wants bring them down, we'll slap em on while we have everything apart...'"

I said "Call them now, I'm on my way!"
They said they'll look at the fronts and do those too with MY hardware :)
    That's ++++ in my book!

sounds like I may have a new place to take the Venza when it needs it... something’s leaking in the trans/diff area don’t want Westborough or imperial Milford to touch it.

I can't be the only one who facepalms every time they try and sell stuff on FB, right?

Person : Is the item available (auto response). Person offers $100 (must be a FB option now, but it was my asking).
Me : Yes it is available.
    Person : Silence
Me : Any questions about it?
Person : Silence (but notation they've seen it).

If it's an accident that you clicked, cool, tell me it's an accident. If you changed your mind, cool. How do you engage the person who's ignoring you without being a d-bag? Just let it go?

Shrug. I don't even follow up that much; I state in the ad that if it's still up it's still available so not to ask. If they ask anyway I just close the window and forget about them.

    Awesome!
I'll give them the 'Yes, it's still available' and that's it. If they don't follow up, I don't try to engage them. Too many tire kickers on Craigslist or Facebook to try and chase all the 'lost leads'.

I always get the cheap/unreasonable people on Craigslist. I put a bed frame up for $20 a couple years ago. It was new in box and would have maybe been $50 or so to pick a similar one up at Walmart. Someone replies and wants to pick it up for $10. I tell them sure thinking it gets it out of the house (my main goal) and covers a lunch for myself, so that's fine with me. Unfortunately, it didn't end there. The guy wanted me to drive it to Great Barrington for him. I said no way, the gas alone would cost about that never mind three hours of my time. He just kept replying "cash in hand" as if that would motivate me.

I was selling a set of Tacoma wheels in between trucks. Since I couldn't move them, I couldn't meet up so he came from VT to my house to pick them up. He pissed on my house before he left. Like...literally sent me a text as he's driving away saying "just pissed next to the house". When he didn't immediately leave I thought it was simply because he was programming his GPS.

It took literally every ounce in my body not to take his cell phone number and spam it all over the Internet.

I'm not sure I dare even try it, CL is bad enough

Oh but that's fun, had someone ask of my $2100 Rav4 "will you take $1500 if I have cash?" I replied "I'm curious to hear what other unit of currency you would be proposing, because I only accept cash but I collect old bikes for one thing. But I think my price is fair because I spent $1500 in the past 18 months on routine maintainence items, plus the 6 other hits I got in the first 3 hours"

$225 pool ladder that was $400 a year ago, and lists my location of E Bridgewater. Guy says would you take $20, I live in Lowell and can meet halfway. I figured that has to be a mistype and replied I'll take $200. He said no, $20, I can buy one for my Intex pool new for $70. I decided to have fun and told him:

The brand new in the box hinge I mention in the ad cost $20 alone, if I was willing to go that low I'd drive across the street and throw it in the dump. It's not worth my time and fuel to move it unless you bring me full asking plus a delivery charge. Oh and have fun getting caught by the building inspector with the $70 ladder and no fencing because they will shut you down, that's why this ladder is more money.

Nah, you should have just called your tattooed neighbor who wields a sword..

Just got some exciting news. I bought a 12volt.solutions remote start kit for my ‘18 F250, transferred it to the ‘19 gas and got confirmation that the same module will work with the diesel. Just ran out, wired it up and... success! Apparently, the same module will monitor the glow plugs and do the delayed start so I now have remote start in the new truck!
