    2020 SR5 Access 6ft bed V6 4x2
    MSRP $33,756
OTD $32,500 (including TTL - 5% SC sales tax - not to exceed $500)

I wanted Access cab and 6ft bed. I've had a really hard time finding these in the southeast and they seem to get claimed before they hit the lot.

What do you guys think? decent deal? great deal? or should I have haggled more? I compared the same vehicle with a couple of other dealers and it seems that my OTD was $1k less than the others.

Whats the USAA Discount? How does it work? I don't see Toyota listed as a manufacture that gives an additional incentive for USAA. I also have USAA. Thanks

You use their car buying service and they give you a price certificate that includes an additional discount. It also notifies the dealership. Additionally, if you use their car loan services, you get 0.5% off of your car loan & automatic payments include another 0.25% off. So a 3.19% interest rate teases down to roughly 2.4%

Bah should have used USAA but I got my 2020 TRD Sport 4x4 for 37k OTD MSRP 43k.

Smarter move. These trucks are already expensive, with a markup, its crazy. I got a TRD OR Cement with tech and premium pkg (plus blacked out emblems and trunk letters, rubber floor mats and sills, and the silly preferred owners portfolio) for over $4000 off MSRP just in April, plus extremely good terms. You're smart to wait. This is a terrible time to buy a truck from any manufacturer. Even Nissan is nearly sold out.

This is why I almost didn't pick one up. The dealership local to me was asking $51k for a 2020 TRD Sport (no leather, no lift, no nothing). It was a nice truck but I was like this doesn't make any sense guys.

You should be able to get a sport for $30k if they're in stock. The only reason dealers are jacking prices is because of limited stock, not because sales are up.

In today's world, I would say decent deal. I really like the access cab with 6 foot bed too. If you have another vehicle for hauling people it's the way to go imho.

Have never seen a new Sport on here quoted at 30 K. Maybe I missed something.

I bought one for $30,500. Sales are down, there will soon be more 3rd gens than any other year and they'll keep making more.

Been following prices and inventory since March. While prices are definitely higher, I'm starting to see more inventory and a lot of this inventory ain't moving. During late May and June, they would last a day or 2 on Cargurus, Autotrader, etc. before disappearing. Now I'm seeing a lot of them ditting for weeks. Looking like the market is starting to respond to their inflated pricing strategy.

Your avatar says 2017, did you get a 2020 4wd for 30K? If so, you did great, all you have to do is scroll back thru, most of the Sport or OR buyers are between 34 and 40 K.

I’ve purchased two Tacoma’s from Toyota Carlsbad. I’ve used Alex Ordonez both times. He’s a fleet manager, straight to the point, and doesn’t have all those typical salesman tactics. He can usually do all the negotiations directly and doesn’t have to do all the back and forth with a manager stuff. I highly recommend him, if that’s where you end up.

Thanks. I lost my excellent contact at Toyota El Cajon..so I may try him. I’ll be buying another Tacoma later this year. No hurry, my daughter doesn’t start driving till October. But I’ve already been looking around..almost bought with the 0% rate they had. Hoping the inventory comes back by the time I need to buy.
