Here are the requested pics of the 10 point buck I killed in and around 2008. It amazes me that their numbers in 1930 were only around 300,00 nation wide. By imposing hunting seasons, and conservation programs, their numbers today are around 30 million. I read an article that stated around 1.5 million are killed by motor vehicles every year. I truly wish more people in the younger generations would take up hunting. If we don't hunt them, their population will explode to the point that starvation and disease will kill millions of them, and besides, their tasty as hell cooked on the grill. I just noticed the date on the live deer cam picture. So I guess the actual date was 2006 hunting season, my bad.

 

Old is a state of mind, and my mind tells me I'm old. Actually my $#%%@ up spine is what makes me feel old. There are days, wishing I was still hammering out the miles on my 20 speed bike. Nothing like a good 55 mph downhill run on skinny tires pumped up to 135 psi.

It's FRIDAY!!!!!,YAWNNNNN, when I was 25 and Friday rolled around, my ass was on fire to go out PARTYING!!!DANCING!!!!and let's not forget DRINKING!!!!!!!! and then 35 years flew by. For all of you that still get excited about FRIDAY, congratulations. Now days I can't remember what day of the week it is. Thank God for Paper Calendars or my life would be in total CHAOS.

Almost time for the highlight of my day, the 3 mile walk. Went out and purchased a somewhat expensive pair of running shoes to walk in. Is that an oxymoron. Hopefully these new "Wonder" shoes will help my worn out old feet feel better. Other wise Good Morning all you What Evers, I hope everyone enjoys there 48 hour reprieve from work.
