    Morning all.
    The calm before the storm.
    55 outside this morning however oppressive heat on the way.

    Some more fuel pump recalls today. These are not being fun for the guys.

    Thinking of bringing 2 extra change of clothes as once you do one you smell like fuel all day.
    I see some problems coming with high mileage vehicles.

    Air pump and valves on a 12 if they show up first thing.

    Then back to the shop tomorrow to work on my truck and get this dam
    Growling gone. hope the bearing doesn’t explode like the last one I did.

    A little of this and a little of that.
    Good morning-Friday for those that adhere to that sort of thing.

    Several guys that I have worked with for many years are retiring at the end of the month. They’re down to two weeks left. Of course, some I’ll miss working with, others not so much.

    @Tacoma Mike - I occasionally have to work fuel tank leaks and inspections and we have used baby powder to mitigate the smell of the fuel. Granted, I am dealing with Jet-A kerosene, but anything that lessens the stench of the gas is helpful.

    Hot and humid today. Weatherman says we could see a heat index of 105 tomorrow.

    Our county fair is going on now. I don't know why it wasn't canceled. Everything else was canceled. We dont plan on going.

    Good morning all, 49 at 0530 walking the boys. Going to be lower temps today before it climbs back up over the weekend. More afternoon storms, got a lot of rain and few boomers that once again shook the house. Knock on wood, no hail for a few days due to the higher temps that may not be the case this afternoon.

    Its there. In my recliner right now so its not as bad as sitting upright. Gotta get it stretched out before I hop in the truck to go campin!
