We definitely understand anyone that does any research into your product knows what it does and doesn't do. It's just people being lazy on their end.

literally any post responding to you explain your problems. You're kind of just looking for trouble at this point. There's about a hundred posts scattered throughout here talking about techstream and hyper tech and how to get a hold of that software if you wanted to mess with your speedometer.

most of us have full-time jobs and don't have time to be on the forums for 8 hours a day. Yet we're still able to figure out what we need or spend just a little time looking. I'm sorry your experience hasn't been perfect, none of ours has, but part of the fun is learning.

I certainly would handle it very differently. Firing / blacklisting some customers would be the starting point.

With all that you have done and continue to do at a very fair price, this kind of shit is ridiculous, esp with all the knowledge that you shared and we have had to absorb. I know that I was slow on the uptake and apologize for that!

Peeps need to go back to Stock for a refresher.

No but I call a spade a spade, I know better than to buy something without researching and if I just can't do it I find someone who can and pay them to do it or ask them to teach me

Go look at your posts 2 months ago.
You can't say you didn't see it, because you commented on it and replied to it.
It was directly to you, only you. You didn't have to follow any posts.

Having to have a disclaimer that changing tire size doesn't change the speedo is ridiculous. If we wanted to advertise that we could change the speedo we would do that. That's like saying we should put a disclaimer that adjusting ignition timing doesn't change your fuel ratio.

Your irritation is 100% your own fault. Sorry, point blank, nothing else to say.

I don’t cover for him hardly ever. Read back on my posts I’ve stated my opinions a few times but respectfully. Matter of fact I’ll be the first to say he has a ways to go but I do believe he’s got good intentions and is working on doing better.

Also, he’s a business man and is selling a product and as a consumer we have rights to voice our opinion. You do also but be respectful about it and I’m sure you’ll get a respectful comment back if he responds.

It's simple, go to the arrows at the bottom of his first post, and keep clicking the right arrow. You can be caught up on his posts in the time it took you to write all the bashing you did.

I installed a module that goes in series with the wire harness to the speedometer and calibrated the gain value until my speedo reading matched a gps measured speed. The cruise control is still off though. Is it fed by yet another system?

    @OVTune I have a few questions.

Seeing the issue with the speedometer calibration a few posts back...Any chance a future version vFT might have access to the table(s) in the skid control ECU that can modify the speed signal? There might be some other areas of this ECU worth exposing such as traction control slip sensitivity, etc.

Also, when the 2.0 files get released as vFT files (for those who have access) will we be able to toggle gearlock vs standard S-mode? I imagine there's more to it than just a check box in the actual code vs LUT.

Is there a live tracing feature that highlights the current cell of a table being accessed and all of the cells that were used during a 'pull'?

Really have been out of the loop here. So OVTune changed to vF Tuner? Does that make my OVTune kit obsolete? Do I have to purchase a whole new kit to mess with the tuning? I didn't think I'd be making any more changes but I decided to regear to 4.88 and I'm moving up to 285's next week. What do I have to do now? ha

You only need to buy vF if you want to edit tunes.

For the MTs, 2.0 is out. If you are satisfied with it, then there is nothing left to do.
