I believe it was the blind spot monitoring that required color keyed bumper caps.

In Toyota’s infinite wisdom, the TRD Sport and Off Road got bedside stickers instead of badges.

I recently did the pro fog mod, and ordered the rigid amber covers. Well cover, my dumb ass didn’t think to order 2, so now I’m waiting for a second.

Yeah - my tow hook was chrome. Taped off just the chrome and used Red Enamel.

I like the chrome on black, red, and blazing blue. Can’t stand it on cement, cav. Blue or quicksand.

That covers the wire from your power windshield rear view mirror and tucks into the headliner.

Is this unique to 2020's only? Cause if you have 4x4, the badge would have been stuck on from the factory.
Toyota loves their badging so it is odd not to have one.
There are 2wd sports and off roads, so I can understand not having it.

Unless your dealer took them out, so the difference between 2WD and 4x4 it's not as obvious to sell more 2WD trucks. A stretch of my imagination.

    Edit: I stand corrected.

I made a similar rack using HDPE and alumunum strips

(Old pictures, the wires have been cleaned up and covered in looms)

the TRD OR and Sport do not have the 4x4 badge even if 4x4. They have the sticker on the bedside. The SR5 and Pro have the badge.

If you want one tip, dont even both trying to bend the HDPE with a heat gun... its a pain in the ass to get it right, so I used the aluminum strips and bent those and just made the plastic flat.

Negative ghost rider! Quicksand TRDOR checking in. The only chrome left here is inside the headlights, mirror adjustment knobs, and door handles. Plans in place for 2 and 3. Headlights haven't annoyed me enough to pay the price or try my luck with the BHLM.
Tried baking a set of Subaru tails once, didn't NOT work out well.
