That's awesome! When I put in my order back in March I was considering getting the AG Pro 6MT and even back then they said they were basically already gone/sold out and impossible to get. I'm surprised you were able to find one! Enjoy your unicorn!

Well hears what happened. Some guy ordered this back in FEB, Lost his job, 2 weeks prior to that I checked every dealer within a 200 mile radius. Nobody was taking any orders for army green PRO in a manual trans.. All the dealers told me, Forget about ordering one.. :angrygirl: One of the dealers took my name and # called me and said, today is your lucky day.. I felt bad for the guy that lost his job. BUT.. Funny thing was he ordered It the same way I wanted it ...Wife said I was lucky. Dealer told me if it was a automatic you WOULD NOT have bought this for this price.. They mark it up $3500 over MSRP.

I think I may have found a deal
SR5 dcsb 4x4 V6 with all weather Mats and mud guards. In Sky silver.
    MSRP 36,687
I can get it for 33,699 including $1000 rebate & destination charges, plus taxes and fees.
Thats about 8% off MSRP with the rebate included
The dealership in Maryland about 30 miles away.

I have another lead on a similar truck for 33,879

Do you think this is a good deal or should I continue to wait?

You cant order from factory unless you know someone who works at a distributor like Gulf States Toyota. The way it works is toyota makes what toyota wants to make. Then after the truck is made, dealers can request that model/configuration as an allotment to their dealership. If you want something specific, then you have to go to a dealer and have them look for a truck being made and request an allotment after putting down a deposit (usually $500).

Yeah, after the excitement of getting the call that a Cement OR was available, I thought about it and it just didn't make sense. From what I have seen, the 2021 is a carry over model with no changes (unless you want Lunar Rock, and that's only on the PRO's) from 2020. With limited stock, that would mean I would be paying 2021 prices for a 2020 truck and be stuck with truck that had 1 year old residual/resale value rolling off the lot. Usually this is offset by Toyota having a "clearance" event which usually starts around this month but doubt that might happen this year.

In todays world assuming that it's a 6 cyl, it sounds pretty good to me. You get your electric seat and the ever popular double cab which go quick. I have a friend that has that same truck in the long bed and he wishes he would of got the short box, says hard to maneuver. His is a 4 X 2 though and a 2019, he paid a bit over 30 K so for 2020 and 4x4 your deal seems pretty good. After a while it gets to the point where how much is your time worth? Best of luck to you whatever you decide. Maybe you can let them close the sale by tossing in the running boards?

It is a 4x4 and v6. I think it's a fair deal with the current market. Far better than some of the quotes I got. Like MSRP - $200 discount and the rebate.
I really liked cement a tiny bit more than silver sky but every dude here has a cement taco and I'm seeing more local too. Silver looks great and will look good dirty the same as cement. Will look good with black trim too.
I'm actually glad I got the short bed. More space is good but I live on the edge of the city so being able to manauver is important. I had a 1500 Silverado as a rental once and I liked it but ya not fun in some spots.

I was just tired of punishing my self with the waiting and looking. The deal is fair enough so I put down a deposit.

There's a dealer I called up here in Sacramento about an Offroad. They wanted 5k OVER MSRP for ALL Offroads. They also had a USED 2020 Cement Offroad (non-Premium) with 5k miles on it. They wanted 48k for it. I obviously told them to get bent and that I'd remember this for the next 30 years and NEVER do business with them. Also told them I'd tell everyone I know.

Yeah, I think you did good. I agree on the SB, I would do the same if I had a dblcab. Like my friend says dblcab LB hard to maneuver. Anyway - Right on Taco Mike ! Congratulations !

Thanks man the thing is I just had to ask and sound like I knew what I was doing. I mostly did it all by email until the deposit was taken. I did it not being a pro negotiator at all. When the deal is good, don't have to beat a dead hose to get it. That feels nice. Man I'm so excited. Never had a brand new vehicle ever. Of course pics as soon as I get it.
