What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

The 1957 Cadillac El Dorado is what all chrome aspires to be. Anything else is sub-par.

 

I like chrome when it matches other parts that are chrome. I feel like the rear bumper being chrome, but no chrome on the front bumper is a little weird. With that said, I got a metal rear bumper to replace my chrome rear, but I love my chrome badges, and my interior chrome trim.

 

It's your truck and it's all about what you like/want.

I personally hate chrome even though there's some still left on my truck, but that's just me.

I agree. I Drove this for the last 9 years and was on a “chrome-overload”. I am definitely glad the Tacoma has limited chrome. Sorry ahead of time for the photos.

Did the same with my off road then blacked it out out with a 4 piece overlay set.

 

Cool- I think black emblems on the blue Tacoma’s look awesome.

 

Yes the SR's and pro get the 4x4 on the tailgate as the sport and off road get vinyl 4x4 on the box sides.

 

That makes as much sense as a busted vending machine, but who am I to tell almighty Toyota what to do?

 

I also added the TRD Off Road under the side mirrors.

Do you have puddle lights to illuminate at night?

 

No but the camera's are on the bottom of the side mirrors. Not sure if that is where they get installed or under the door.

 

My A.R.E CX HD cap arrived Wednesday, got it installed today!

 

The view was good but the trail was just a typical PNW forest road. The turn off was around 44.991944 -122.066232 according to Gaia.
