    2001 with; cat-back side-swept twin exhaust, elbow mod, Westin bullbar with Hella 450 driving lights, Snugtop XTR camper shell, TRD off-road 2x4-black beauty.
    You guys are rated at 236hp/266ftlbs. You have the torque for sure. I got a question-my stepson has a 2010 Highlander with the 270hp/248ftlbs-I always get confused with the engines that have a bigger HP # than torque. Does this translate to both vehicles having about the same power? All I know is his Highlander moves really good.

    Horsepower is responsible for moving the vehicle along and gives it the ability to cruise on the highway and accelerate in normal conditions.

    Torque is the force that helps the vehicle start moving from a stop and pulls it up steep hills. Torque steps in again to provide power when you're hauling items or towing something behind the vehicle.

    Yeah... A WRX really isn't all that much faster. It feels and sounds a lot faster, but it really isn't.

    I believe a stock WRX will run like a 14 1/4 mile whereas a stock taco runs somewhere in the range of 15 sec IIRC...

    Were your headers a noticeable difference? I have a CEL on now due to my extensive exhaust work and I figured I might as well spring for the headers if they are worth it.
