It also destroys your esophagus and hurts your teeth. These things were not meant for contact with stomach acid

Oh I agree a lot of these products are filled with garbage. I used Whey Protein and such when I worked out while playing. My favorite drink used to be Whey Protein, creative, scoop of peanut butter, cocoa powder, banana, ice and almond milk. Tasted like drinking a Reese PB Cup. Used to have that after working out.

Yes the extra protein needs to be processed and leave your body somehow. Is there a reason you don’t use it after the workout instead of one of the other 2?

Doctor said 1 shake per meal, but I don’t really eat lunch so I workout, then go to work delivering food. While I’m moving around I get hungry and eat a nice big dinner. Usually whatever my mom makes or I’ll eat a burrito from a local taco place

I was just wondering because it helps with muscle recovery also.

Now that is a delicious sounding shake!
for a while I was working out in the AM so after my workout was breakfast time. I’d do mocha flavored whey, half a cup of cold brewed coffee, almond or peanut butter, and banana. Sometimes throw some spinach in there. Oh and a scoop of plain Greek yogurt. Good stuff.

You need to refuel after a workout. You just depleted your body and it’s starving for fresh nutrients.

I drank consistently for about 72 hours on a cruise once. The next 4 days were brutal. Not sure what "blue drink" the short dude in Mexico was giving me. But it was stout.

Nope but I did feed the fish a couple times on the catamaran ride back to the ship. Oh and I broke my toe trying to play barefoot soccer on the beach whilst plastered.

Only blue drink I know is an AMF. Haven’t had one of those since the college days. Nor do I plan to ever again!
