Lol I think I’m going to leave it like that for a while. Just looked at the prices of a new heater control board and it’s not worth it for just a shinny new knob

This isn't at all ideal but the T100 I bought has one of the shocks secured with bailing wire because the bolt sheared off and the previous owner didn't care to drill and tap it. Not sure I care at this point either...

If anything this just reinforces why I always carry bailing wire with me on the trail in case I need it

Dropped the topper off for paint. Figured it’s a good time to wash the truck, clean all the glass inside and out and 303 all the moulding and weather stripping.

Next up is removing all the adhesive residue from the massive amounts of removed stickers from the rear glass

Also. Anyone have insight into why this “w” might be on my frame? (Passenger side)

When pressure washing the under carriage and inside of the frame I first noticed this after a year of owning it.

More progress on the halfdoors. I should have one welded up today. But the lake is calling, might have to wrap up soon

Your the winner of the Tacoma frame lottery. No one claimed it in 98

Probably just some factory mark. New trucks have them to some times

hm why did you cut the top part of the doors off? I'd have kept it to keep the seal covered plus it make the cab look stock otherwise.

Its unneeded, it's not like its gonna stop any wind noise. I would have chopped more off but I need room for speakers.

Looks like a hack job alarm install, see where the wires go. It can probably be taken out, then you can repair the wiring.
