They will work with Dakar leafs but I think you need the U bolts that come in the flip kit

I just installed the other day. I bought my Dakar with poly bushings, cb drop and no u bolts.

Yep, the ubolts that come with the dakars are square on the "bottom" and you need rounded ones to work with any flip-kit.

Mostly electrical shit that nobody cares about.
I'm running the flip kit by Archive Garage. Worked great and the superbumps are a treat.

That does look very nice but I am sure all I need is this kit

    https://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/toy...tops-by-all-pro-off-road-4400a-ap-05-tim.html

I suppose the same kit would work on the 3rd gen?

Edit - I didn't go to the second page where they show the Wheelers kit with the Super Bump Stops. That's even a better price. $175 !

    Saves me $25

Well, I picked up an extra set of leaf packs with an Icon AAL for free so I figured I could splurge a little.
    :fistbump:

    Have a great weekend Stud!

Really like the coating you put on your kit, @Anton338 !!

Just put the superbumps + flip kits on. Noticed one set of the u-bolts are a little off center and squeezing against the leaf springs. Reckon that needs to come off and get re-installed.

Question: the angled lip on the bolt plate, does this go towards the center or out towards the tire?

Hah, @RobP62 — I think I attached the wrong image from a separate suspension topic. Was showing how I used a bottle jack to push the leaf springs down to get the rear shackle in place.

On a separate note, I chopped down the 8mm allen key for the front bump stops (wheelers/super) to about a 3-4” straight piece and used a 5/16 socket to crank that baby tight.

I spoke with wheelers regarding the angled lip on the top plate. The extension is for if you install hydraulic bumps, which would require the lip to go out towards the tire.

Also 5% TW member code is 10q4yourservice. They said I could pass it along.
