Swapped out new front rotors and pads on my new-to-me '14 Tacoma access cab6-speed 4x4.

As you can see the old pads still had a bit of meat left on them but because I'm hauling firewood/rounds I'd rather be safe than sorry.

The new Hawk LTS bite unbelievably well. I bed them in and couldn't believe just how well they performed as I was bedding them in. Great bite, way better than stock. The brembo rotors seem great too.

Previous owner had installed a lift and 1.5" Spydertrax spacers.

Click on the pic to get taken to the pad page on Tirerack.

Here's the link to the Amazon page where I bought the rotors. For some reason the Amazon page says it does not fit the 14 tacoma but on Tirerack (more expensive) it clearly said it fit.....and they did fit perfectly fine.

Brembo 25859 Front Disc Brake Rotor $60.99 each with free shipping.

I watched this video on YT for those who are unfamiliar with the procedure.

The guide pins had no lube on them at all and were a bit annoying to tap out but eventually they did. I should have ordered new guide pins. Will do that for next time but I did lube them up with some antiseize.

    Came out nice!
I replaced my pads and rotor a couple years back for warping issues.

Good luck! With an '08 like you have I would say the hardest part will probably be the hardest part for me - tapping out those guide pins. If you can I'd order a set to replace the fronts since mine looked like crap on a '14 with 96k. While you're at it you should replace the spring clips as well.
