@MyWyfsRnnr , Deer hunting requires a lot of work. I use to spend days, scouting the woods in the Uhwarie forest looking for trails, rubs, scapes, you name it. Especially before bow season opened. You think gun hunting is tough. I bow hunted for many years until I had to get bifocals. Never killed one, but missed the opportunity on many. I would also like to add that there is an element of luck involved, since their sense of smell is really good, and the hearing is way better than ours. Regardless, never give up. do you hunt with a portable climbing stand, or fixed position. I've treked many a mile with a 20 lb stand on my back, small backpack, gun, winter clothing, boots. I was just in the right place at the right time for this one.

Forgot to ask what model .300 savage are you shooting. I hope that your reloading your own ammo, cause that caliber is pretty dam pricey.

Anyone living in the Rowan County/Salisbury area interested in picking some organic blue berries to take home. I have four large bushes, and their loaded down with berries right now. More than I can possibly pick. Somebody help a TW member out here and come get some!!!

I have heard that you should never get name(s) unless that person(s) have passed away.

Also if you ever have a boy, don’t make them a Jr. Cause then they’d have to live with knowing their mom called their name out during sex!
