Not official Lego, but I picked these up at Crater Lake last week. I will have a few actual Lego things to share soon though!

 

Finally finished sorting my old collection, at least as much as I'm willing to do. Next up is to continue rebuilding my old pirates and castle sets.

 

picked this up at goodwill for only $3!!! I'm pretty sure its still sealed!

Sucks, I was looking forward to that one, I understand why they did it but still

 

Yeah, I was really looking forward to it as well.

It is fairly understandable, I'm just curious how it made it this far through the development process. This isn't the place for further opinions in that direction, though.

 

Three days ago, an intern named Björn, who’s never heard of the Osprey and now doing his program from home, Googles “V-22 Osprey” and only sees military versions of it. Searches again for non-military uses and sees none.

He then brings this info to his internship supervisor who freaks out Lego is about to issue, to the horror of all, a REAL military model which would be against the foundational tenets of the company.

Not based in fact, just my attempt to build a plausible explanation.

 

I'd believe that.

But Star Wars has all kinds of weaponry and they make a ton of that... I guess that "science fiction" weapons are ok but real military ones aren't.

Odd but whatever, they aren't hurting for $$$.

 

That’s their big hypocrisy.
