TOYTEC 2.5 kit, SPC UCA, N-fab side steps, TRD pro grille, FN FX PRO Wheels, BFG KO2S (265/70/17 C Rated), TRD Skid plate, Tyger Tonnue Cover, OVtune, Borla S type exhaust
265/70/17 bfg KO2 c rated with FN FX PROS (0mm offset) . Didn't see a change in mpg at all. Rides pretty smooth in my opinion. No rubbing issues, only issue was a slight rub on mud flaps but have gotten rid of them. May go a size bigger later tho

Seconding the BFG C rated KO2s here. I had the E rated KO2s when I had 16" wheels, and they were way too stiff and heavy.

I too average about 18mpg, and I drive it pretty hard. Mine's lifted, so I can't speak to rubbing, but it does seem to still have plenty of spunk with the slightly larger tires. Funky angle on the pic makes it look like I have a ridiculous amount of rake (and almost a long bed), but that's with about a 2 1/4" lift. It originally measured with 2.6" of lift on both ends, but it looks like it's settled a bit.

do you have more pictures? I've been considering exactly this with a 2" lift.

Hey everyone! I am getting my TRD Pro Wheels and will be getting Toyo Open Country AT3’s. I see mixed discussion of rubbing and some that don’t. What my main concern is does this17x7 wheel and 265/70R17 decrease the capability of my stock Tacoma TRD Off Road? Can it still do the what a stock Tacoma TRD OR can do on trails!?

Heck yeah. You get a small bit of lift and better traction. The slight diameter increase will roll over obstacles easier.

Plus no rubbing to deal with when using that size.
