    How do you like that hitch cargo basket? I've been looking at getting one for firewood/cooler, but I was worried it might be wobbly or get in the way. Can the tailgate open fully if it is empty?

    Tailgate will close when empty. Of course not when you have stuff in it though. Mine doubles as a roof basket because I U bolt it to the rack on my shell. Let’s me put it up there on the trip to where I am going, and then in the hitch carrier on the way back for big cooler, ice, and meat, etc. when hunting. I have another one that I outfitted with wheels for shore fishing. Just drop it down and wheel the cooler, fishing poles and gear down the pier. Convenient add on that comes in handy more often than you would think.
