Let me know when you can. I put out a bunch of feelers and have like 8 trucks invited but want to get an idea of who is actually going to come. You’d have fun for sure. We’ll take it easy.

AC Pro was a good thing for my 4Runner. It read at 20 psi before recharging it, which is basically the lowest properly functioning psi according to the gauge. Anything below that is basically damaged parts apparently. Nevertheless, it was about 90° outside when I recharged it earlier tonight and I filled it up to about 48 psi. Let it run for a while and it was substantially colder than before. Like way noticeably colder. So tomorrow after work when it’s above 90°, I’ll really get to put it to the test

 

Enjoyed it too guys. Was good to get back out on a trail. Peter's Mill Run has gotten way more rocky than it used to be. Next time I'm definitely airing down just for the comfort level alone...and bringing a fishing rod for that pond!

Agreed! Also need to throw my ultra lite in truck for times like that.

 

If the Bronco sales are strong, I wonder if that will entice Toyota to make another pass at the FJ with a convertible top. The FJ's resale value is stupidy stong, and maybe Toyota will feel like Ford, that the market can handle an off-road-focused vehicle that's not made by FCA.

 

I want to try the trail backwards next time.

My front diff is puking oil out of the breather. Thoughts?

 

I’ve seen that happen from over filling, elevation change, or if you have a front arb locker it’ll sometimes happen. It happened to me at fpk once.

 

So i have all 3. Guess i'm screwed

I said it yesterday and I’ll say it again... Throughly impressed at what these trucks can do, Both in stock form and modded.

 

Just make sure the diff is at the appropriate level and keep an eye on it. I doubt it’ll do it again.

 

Anyone interested in a set of 5x 285/70R17 Falken Wildpeak AT3 with just a few thousand on them for like $500? I need a few more wheels and people aren't separating their take-offs.

 

So it’s 93° where I’m at right now and my AC was ice cold instantly. Definitely a huge success. Buddy of mine suggested it may be a slow leak, possibly from the service port valve cores. They appeared in great shape when I charged it though. So for what’s going on a 20 year old vehicle, I’m okay with using that product again and would suggest it for sure.

 

I always thought that Toyota missed the mark not making the FJ a convertible.
