Nah, the clouds beat me once again. :pout:

Plus, I think this crazy heat has been creating a haze on the horizon.

I might have to wait until next week and find a vantage point away from the city.

    Morning PA folks .

To much light pollution near cities. I found the further out into the rural areas, the better for pictures of the stars, comets etc. Although clouds can be a problem :angrygirl:. Enjoy and hope next week works for you.

The crosstrek has a decent ground clearance so it sits a bit taller.

Btw I don't have to go back to work until the 28th. I have 170 hrs of paid vacation i need to use by the end of the year.

Edit to add. I take a lot of drives in the Michaux state forest. I never seen it so crowded.

Good morning, all! Today will mark the first day in three weeks where we haven't had house guests. As much as I love having family and friends here...it will be nice to just relax.

Have a great day - supposed to be a hot one but we started the day at 55 deg F this morning. Time to go pick blueberries!!

I'm likely into the spring timeframe for mine. Unfortunately, I'm still not back to work so not planning anything major until things stabilize a little on my end.

Spring is probably aggressive for me too. But at some point it's happening.

I have a 2015 Crosstrek and it's great in the snow. A little light but I have thrown a few bags of sand or rock salt in the trunk and it's like a little tank. Will be interested to see how my Tacoma compares...

There's usually people who will take passengers. That's what I'm doing this time.

    Yep.
Nothing wrong with that, shit, that's the only way I've been able to get a wheeling fix over the last few years. Get some spotting experience and take a shit load of pics, the wheel-men will thank you later

Plus, you won't have a damn thing to worry about other than having a good time

Ass end can be a little squirley, but you will get used to how it will react for the most part. Locked in 4wd it's pretty confident as long as YOU don't get OVER confident. My previous truck was a 2wd S10 with a lunchbox locker so I'm used to going sideways around the turns in the snow, lol.

Exactly this, the rear end in these is light and they can swing out really easy. Put some weight back there.
