    Hey all
Playing with the idea of a prinsu roof rack over my dbl cab. Is the weight of a rtt and 2 adults too much for the roof to hold? I've tried searching my answer but no luck. Not interested in a bed rack. Not going to run a rtt unless I am going camping, I'll just remove it when not in use.
    Any thoughts/experiences?
    Thanks

I have thought the same thing, I have a Martin OR roof rack, which is similar to the Prinsu. I don’t believe the weight is a problem, as the racks are securely mounted at 10 points to the roof. I have wanted to get into an RTT, but a bit hesitant because of the prices.

I'm thinking of getting the iKamper mini to mount on my prinsu cab rack. Weight should be no issue.

Yea price is what's holding me up. How popular overlanding is keeps those prices up.

Especially the cost of things north of the boarder.

I have a prinsu cab rack on my 3rd gen with the “Smittybilt Overlander” RTT. Works out great and feels super sturdy. Me, my wife and 9yr old son have all slept in it multiple times. We’re all normal sized people.
I know the i camper is $$$$ but my setup was reasonably affordable. About $850 for the rack with shipping and around $950 I believe for the rtt.
I’m new to TacomaWorld and as soon as I figure out how to post pictures, I’ll drop a couple ;)
