Don't have any good shot of on scene stuff. Never really carried a camera anyways. lol But here are some shots of my trainings.

Seemed like every day we did water, it was freezing. The next day my gear was a solid block of ice.


uh....

 

Real considerate of them to do burnouts with taxpayers property. If they saw one of us burning them like that we would get pulled over and ticketed for sure!

nice! I am going to guess the person in the mustang was DOA.... or extremely f'ed up?

 

First of all......this was on a closed course track at the academy.

I believe they only do this 2 or 4 times a year for the graduating cadets who worked so hard for a half a year at the academy. And to show their families and friends what the CHP can do and has been trained to do. Along with other demonstrations at the academy.

And finally....I could be wrong on this but I do not believe this was paid for by taxpayers money. But payed for by car registration fees......which is not a tax. Well it kinda is a (depending on how you look at it) tax but you don't have to drive a car and pay it if you don't want to.


I don't see a problem with it, but everyone has their own opinions and that's fine.

 

Wow Those are some crazy pics you put up! That mustang (or whatever that was) crash looks pretty bad! Did the person survive?

Yeah that's why I put up 'or whatever that was' up too. Thanks for telling us what it was.
I thought it could have been a mustang because of the way the wheels looked. Kinda looked like the 90's type of wheels.
But the front end didn't really look like a 90's mustang, so I wasn't sure.

A100lb(at least) Propane tank exploded 30 seconds after the first pic as I was running to catch a hydrant!

It won 1st place in the IAFF media awards for publications over 100 000, I wish I could say that was me but sadly it's someone else on my shift!

 

First Picture is during G20......yes this happened....

Second picture is a Photoshop..... from the XRU boyz.......

3rd and 4th pictures are of an actual car..... my ex said he built it...... but this is one fast car....

and the 5th is a local car....lots of other crazy ones.... lots of off road vehicles, hummers, Tacoma's, lots of undercover stuff too.... but these are my fav
