Gorilla tape. Not a perfect fit, but good enough to hold a jacket and some other stuff.

That is the trans case actuator vacuum line. MAKE SURE IT IS NOT DRY-ROTTED OR OFF. This WILL result in water getting into the actuator and killing it. And these things are not cheap (1900cad from the dealer)!!! I killed my actuator this way.

I took a socket just a little smaller than the plus itself (placed it on the plug itself) tapped it three good times with a 3lb sledge hammer 2ft breaker bar and mine was off. When it broke free it snapped and I was afraid to look up but all was good! I used a socket style like your showing but only after grinding it flat to get rid of the curved tips.

3" lift on stock wheels. 888s in front and 111er dakars in the back. V stiff right now but at least I'm not hitting bump stops every 10s like I used to

You can also go to auto zone or O’Reilly’s and get one cut to length pretty cheap.

As odd as it may sound, you might try using the torque gun and tightening the bolt just for a second or 2, then loosen for a second or two. Doing that back and forth several times sometimes helps to break the rust bond between the bolt and the threads.

My truck is 77,777 years old. I was able to capture this on the way back from palm springs.

The heat made that drive not so fun. Having to drive 60 on the highway coming back, so I did not push my truck to hard.
Tranny was cooking reaching 240*. (Big tires, family of 4, camper shell, and bed full of weekend getaway gear)
    Engine temps pushing 220*
And cross winds gave me that unbearable kazoo noise.

But I have to say I still love my 14 tacoma, and will keep this truck forever.
Instead of getting upset at my truck, I made a maintenance to do list.
    Fixed the kazoo noise!
Cleaned the fins in my coolers.
And doing a coolant flush soon.
And when funds permit upgrade to a bigger tranny cooler and add a inline filter.

Wired up my new horn. Now I have two horns like a V6 :D
Now I'm measuring to mount a CB in my center console.
