I bought this, it fits my iPhone 6plus, and at $12, it was worth it.

Thanks! I looked at that, had good reviews.

ended up going for this one as it is a small business about an hour north of me in Asheville. Had rave reviews about his business (custom bags too)

Joined the Taco bike club about a month ago, mostly have been riding trails right next to my house. Enterprise south in Chattanooga. Eventually will make my way to white oak, bauxite, and the Raccoon Mtn.

Picked up a Walmart bike of all things, their new Schwinn Axum, but I’ve mostly replaced everything besides the frame and wheels. Been real happy with it, tubeless ready and rigged for a dropper which I have done both already. Good angle on the head tube, so it’s not bad. Will eventually drop some money on something good when COVID craziness is over hopefully, but I want to see if I will stick with it. Did all the work myself to fix up the bike, with the exception of trueing the wheels had a friend show me, that’s just been as much fun.

I’m old and slow, so just looking forward to building my legs up where the climbs aren’t as bad in this heat.

Out of town next weekend (wedding) but if you have any mornings you are going to ride on a weekday, let me know and I can get it off!

you’ll have to wait for me at the end though, your average speed is smoking mine!

I am somewhat on “ride slow” duty until after the wedding in 3 months... but that’s no excuse for my climbing to suck as much as it does haha

I got a new Raceface T2 tailgate pad and the straps that go around the down tube frame of the bikes are too long, leaving the frames loose. I used some extra bungees for more support, but want to know what others do to tighten the strap or add bulk to their frames. Thanks

there is some smaller straps there that help. I got a toddler bike with a small frame tube on it without any issue, not sure what you are doing. Pics?

No taco, but trying to bring up the kiddo correctly! Hopefully this will turn into an addiction. She turned 4 today!

Love it! Is that the Precaliber 16? I’m about to begin the hunt for one for my daughter. She too will be 4 in September. She’s already maxed out the long seat post and worn the tires almost bald on her Strider balance bike.

I’m about to go have beers and margaritas at the pool that’s for damn sure. Went and rode a good one this morning and it was exhausting.

yes!!! Precaliber 16. Pretty darn light and seems to be good quality. She’ll get a more expensive bike when it doesn’t have to be traded in in a few years, but for a mid price range bike, this thing is great!

And the strider is a fantastic bike. My kiddo started with that, literally learned to ride another 12 inch in about 30 min with pedals and no training wheels. Lol, she still has her strider and insists on riding it around the house

That’s good to hear. I’m really good friends with my local Trek store manager, and their trade up program kinda makes going trek a no brainer for the kids.

Yea I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the strider for the money. Planning to strip it down and repaint (currently pink) it to give to my 2yo son. I’d planned to get him a tan colored Commencal balance bike, but the strider replacement wheels are too cheap not to ‘recycle’ that bike.
